International
If you are either an International Student or wanting to be involved with international work this page has some details of all the things going on in or around Oxford.
International Cafe, Oxford
If you are an international student (regardless of race, culture or religion) studying at Oxford Brookes you are very welcome to come and relax, practice your English, make new friends and learn about life in Britain. The cafe is run by Christian volunteers from the local church and in association with Friends International. The cafe is held on Mondays during term times and is held in Headington Bapist Church in Headington (near Waitrose super market).
Summer Teams
Each summer UCCF send students out around the UK and the world. These teams are in partnership with Friends international and IFES as well as other Christian Agencies.
Summer 2008
Students from Oxford Brookes this year have the opportunity to go to Belarus. Website
- There are also international student outreach teams reaching out to international students who come to study English around the UK. The purpose of the team is to engage with international students and share the gospel with them; this may include leafleting, running cafes in evening as well as lots of other exciting things. Locations include Bournemouth, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Oxford and Wimbledon (London).
